Responsibilities
- Create project schedule templates in software platforms for project teams.
- Set up and train new employees on required schedule software platforms.
- Maintain resource lists and ensure project team has necessary training and software.
- Review and advise on proposal, preliminary, and initial schedules for compliance.
- Ensure schedules are cost and resource loaded and maintain baselines.
- Interface with Operations to discuss project impacts and resolve issues.
- Aid in creating and managing short-term schedules for Estimating.
- Assist Operations with preliminary, initial, and pay application schedules.
- Manage and evaluate in-progress project schedules.
- Provide technical support and advice for schedule processes and software.
- Identify and address scheduling software training needs.
- Develop and present scheduling reports in bi-weekly meetings.
Requirements
- Previous schedule management experience.
- Working knowledge of Primavera and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to plan, organize, and communicate with internal and external customers/stakeholders.
- Proven success in project history (cost, customer service, quality, safety, and schedule).
- Ability to work independently and take calculated risks while seeking help when needed.
- Effective communication and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work activities efficiently.
- Ability to manage staff through appropriate staffing, evaluations, feedback, and training.
Qualifications
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Physical ability to operate computers, telephones, and other business-related items.
- Ability to handle rapidly changing priorities and attend/participate in meetings.
- Travel for short periods with sufficient notice.
