Construction Scheduler

Ameritech Contracting is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Constructive Scheduler to join our Operations Team. This role will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6. The Scheduler will work closely with project managers, field teams, and stakeholders to ensure accurate forecasting, progress tracking, and timely completion of projects. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and update project schedules in Primavera P6 across multiple projectsCollaborate with project managers and operations staff to establish baselines, milestones, and critical pathsMonitor project progress and provide regular updates, variance analysis, and schedule impact assessmentsPrepare detailed reports and dashboards to communicate schedule performance to leadership and clientsIdentify potential risks and delays, propose recovery plans, and support proactive problem-solvingMaintain historical schedule data for use in forecasting and future project planningSupport resource loading and allocation within the schedule to align manpower and equipment with project needsCoordinate schedule reviews and updates with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders Requirements Minimum 5+ years of experience in scheduling for construction or federal contracting operationsProficiency in Primavera P6 (required)Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path method (CPM), and project controlsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skills Benefits Benefits & Career Growth: 401(k) with company matching Health, Dental, and Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off (PTO) Retirement plan Opportunities for professional development and career growth Equal Opportunity Employer Statement: Ameritech Contracting is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
