About the role

The Construction Schedule Manager will be responsible for providing schedule preparation, communication, review, validation, and interpretation during the design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of multiple manufacturing projects. This role ensures schedules are produced, maintained, updated, and issued regularly throughout project durations, monitors trends, and alerts management to potential impacts. Travel to jobsites is required as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain project schedules using process flow diagrams (PFDs), process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and traditional construction documents.
  • Establish general construction sequences and communicate the approach across all project workstreams.
  • Produce, update, and issue schedules on a regular basis during project lifecycles.
  • Monitor scheduling trends and alert management to potential positive or negative impacts.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure alignment on timelines and deliverables.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction scheduling.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Understanding of logic relationships in turnkey food and beverage manufacturing projects.
  • Fundamental knowledge of design, process design, procurement, processing, packaging, material handling, and building systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Primavera (most recent versions).
  • Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Must be physically present in the Lexington office.
  • Ability to travel to jobsites as needed.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, use of hands, reaching with arms, talking, and hearing.
  • Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Close vision abilities required.
  • Normal office environment with moderate noise levels and controlled temperature/humidity.
  • Overtime may be required.

Pay

The wage range for this role is $100K to $150K, taking into account skill sets, experience, training, certifications, and business needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range.
