About the role

Gray is seeking a Construction Schedule Manager to join our team in the Lexington office. Responsibilities

  • Provide schedule preparation, communication, review, validation, and interpretation during the design, construction, commissioning, and start-up of multiple manufacturing projects.
  • Ensure schedules are produced, maintained, updated, and issued regularly throughout the duration of projects.
  • Monitor trends and alert management to potential positive or negative effects.
  • Generate schedules using process flow diagrams (PFDs), process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), and traditional construction documents.
  • Establish a general construction sequence and communicate the approach across all project workstreams.
  • Travel to jobsites as necessary.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in construction scheduling.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Understanding of logic relationships in turnkey food and beverage manufacturing projects.
  • Fundamental knowledge of design, process design, procurement, processing, packaging, material handling, and building systems.
  • Proficiency in the latest versions of Microsoft Project and Primavera.
  • Basic computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheets, software, and email.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Physically present in the Lexington office.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach with hands or arms, talk, or hear.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
  • Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision.
  • Normal office environment with moderate noise levels and controlled temperature/humidity.
  • Overtime may be required.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $100,000 to $150,000, taking into account skill sets, experience, training, certifications, and business needs.
