About the role
The Sales Representative is responsible for generating new leads, winning bids, and growing revenue through proactive outreach and strong estimating skills.
Responsibilities
- Possess 2+ years of sales experience in construction, building products, or related industries with a proven track record of closing deals (preferred).
- Show strong ability to cold call and generate new prospects; comfortable with high-volume outreach.
- Display proficiency in reading and interpreting residential and commercial construction plans, blueprints, and specifications.
- Show estimating experience and ability to create accurate, competitive bid proposals. Familiarity with takeoff tools preferred.
- Show excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
- Show strong communication and interpersonal skills; professional phone presence.
- Show organized, self-motivated, and results-driven qualities with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Show proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
- Show willingness to travel to job sites and client meetings.
