Construction Sales Consultant
About the role
Morton Buildings, Inc. is seeking a full-time Sales Consultant to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on increasing market share within a designated geographical territory, while also managing and supporting construction projects from pre-sale to completion.
Responsibilities
- Possess 2 years of sales or account management experience, or 5 years of construction management experience.
- Hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, construction, or project management.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of maintaining an accurate sales pipeline within Microsoft Dynamics CRM.
- Travel up to 20% of the time, with minimal overnight travel required beyond initial training and onboarding period.
- Develop and maintain an adequate sales funnel to meet or exceed established sales budgets.
- Grow existing market share and be readily available during construction-related work hours.
- Coordinate all individuals involved in the building project, including MBI personnel, hire and manage subcontractors, and navigate permitting requirements.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and display excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Reside within 30 miles of the assigned territory within 30 days of hire date.

Pay
Starting annual pay range: $65,000 to $85,000. Earnings expand year over year as consultants build experience, grow their portfolios, and benefit from annual increases.
