About the role

The Construction Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe work environment for all employees. This includes conducting safety inspections, training staff on safety protocols, and addressing any hazards that may arise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections of construction sites to identify potential hazards.
• Train employees on safety procedures and best practices.
• Address and mitigate identified hazards immediately.
• Participate in safety meetings and committees as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a safety-related role.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
