About the role
We are seeking a EHS Manager to join our Construction Management Team. This mid-level role is critical for ensuring job site safety, regulatory compliance, and risk mitigation across multiple construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures for construction projects in compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
- Conduct job site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.
- Investigate incidents and near-misses, recommending corrective actions.
- Collaborate with construction teams to identify risks and implement preventive measures.
- Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to field personnel.
- Monitor safety performance metrics and report findings to management.
- Support emergency response planning and ensure readiness on all sites.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Construction Management, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in safety engineering or construction safety roles.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work on multiple projects and travel to job sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare construction projects or similar regulated environments.
- Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, ASP, CHST) are a plus.
