About the role
The EHS Manager will be a key player supporting the implementation and administration of the ITAC EHS Program. The EHS Manager will fully support our commitment to safety and must exemplify our Core Values.
Responsibilities

- Support the success of the operations with effective EHS related services
- Create, improve, and comply with job specific SOPs and EHS policies
- Mentor and lead as a team player within the operations group
- Determine an effective work schedule and conduct independently all required safety and health tasks
- Perform detailed incident investigations and produce high-quality incident reports
- Provide EHS related technical support and training concerning ITAC shop operations to managers and shop employees
- Evaluate all shop practices, including emergency response procedures, for improvement in effectiveness and compliance as well identify any impending weaknesses or potential gaps
- Enter all daily, weekly, and special training and audits into ITAC's online system and ensure OSHA compliant recordkeeping
- Know how to perform detailed equipment, location, and tool inspections and ensure inspection completion as needed
- Report any trends and serious reoccurring deficiencies as noted from leading indicators to the EHS Director
- Communicate with other EHS Managers and Project Managers the conditions and concerns about their project
- Recommend air monitoring devices and specialty devices, perform air sampling and monitoring, data logging and basic Industrial Hygiene related tasks
- Develop training materials and effectively deliver training and instruction at a variety of meeting types
Requirements
- OSHA 30 Hour General Industry
- Minimum 7 years of experience managing EHS programs in construction or general industry organizations, process, manufacturing or similar general industry organizations
- At least one year of management and oversight experience for direct reports and/or management training
- Advanced coursework or training in EHS subjects and college level courses and degrees
- Valid Driver's License and ability to drive to project sites with company vehicles
Qualifications
- Preferred / Desired: OSHA 500 / 501 Certification - Outreach trainer, OSHA level courses related to general industry and industrial hygiene subjects, Forklift and Overhead Crane certifications, Machine Guarding Courses, Hazardous Materials handling and Storage credentials, Environmental and Industrial Waste Management, Fire Prevention and Suppression related courses, CSP - Certified Safety Professional, Other EHS related Management Certifications
