Construction - Roof Loader
About the role
A dependable, hard-working individual is needed for a Roof Loader/Warehouse Associate position at Richards Building Supply in Myrtle Beach, SC. The role involves loading and securing materials, assisting with rooftop deliveries, and supporting warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Load products onto rooftops
- Deliver materials according to DOT regulations
- Assist with loading trucks for deliveries
- Provide superior customer service
- Double check all loads for accuracy and ensure they are securely delivered
- Support warehouse operations including shipping/receiving
- Pull orders for walk-in customers
Requirements
- High School degree or GED
- Ability to stand, bend, twist, and climb ladders throughout the shift
- Forklift experience preferred, but willing to train
- Experience being on roofs preferred
- Ability and willingness to work on roofs
- Basic math skills for inventory counts
- English verbal and written communication skills for reading purchase orders and communicating with team members
- Positive attitude and team player
- Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing safety harness and other required equipment
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day
- Some lifting over 100 lbs. may be required
- Willingness to work on Mondays through Fridays with the possibility of overtime during peak season hours

Schedule
1st Shift "core" hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, with the possibility of overtime during peak season hours.
Pay
