Construction Resident Engineer

Duties

• Administer a bridge replacement project for the Onondaga County Department of Transportation
• Conduct construction field inspections
• Interpret contract plans and specifications
• Record and report on project activities

Requirements

• Hold a NICET Level IV Certification, or NYSDOT Equivalent experience
• Complete OSHA 10-hour training

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Outlook/Word/Excel, Bluebeam, and APPIA
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to interact with project safety supervisors and construction work foremen
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and navigate uneven grounds
