Construction Quality Assurance Technician
Responsibilities
- Inspection and testing of construction materials in both laboratory and field environments to verify conformance to construction plans and specifications.
- Collection of data and preparation of reports.
- Schedule management and time tracking.
- Adhere to construction site safety guidelines and promote a safe working environment.
- Develop and foster relationships with clients, contractors, project managers, etc.
Requirements
- Comfortable working outside in diverse weather conditions and on varied terrain.
- Able to stand, walk, reach, balance, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- ACI Concrete Field-testing Technician Grade I - Inspection Certification.
- Works collectively as part of a team while having the self-motivated ability to work remotely, efficiently, and independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective communication skills with timely responsiveness (phone, email, text).
- Maintain professionalism while managing relationships with associates, clients and contractors.
- Demonstrated skills in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
- Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to project sites.
- Ability to acquire acceptable PA Act 34, 114, and 151 clearances.
