Construction Project Superintendent

About the role

The Superintendent is responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling the building aspects of each project to meet budget, quality, time, and safety objectives.

Responsibilities

• Permit document administration and control
• Complete review and understanding of subcontractors' scope of work
• Identify long lead items that need to be monitored
• Coordinate safety meetings and overall project safety
• Site layout and control of benchmarks
• Control project access and traffic
• Quality control and housekeeping
• Complete schedule updates, daily field reports, and 2-week look-ahead schedules
• Maintain "As-Built" drawings for final submittal
• Coordinate and schedule project inspections
• Coordinate, schedule, and maintain records of all project testing and certificates
• Final inspection and proper close-out documentation
