Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage structural steel erection and miscellaneous metals installation projects.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure project success, from participating in steel detailing to creating comprehensive schedules.
• Review specifications and prepare critical documents.
• Maintain detailed reports to track progress.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders, deducts, and proposals with clients.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, fabricators, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure effective communication and strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience.
• Prior Project Management experience in steel fabrication/erection or miscellaneous metals.
• A valid US driver's license is required.
• Knowledge of AISC and PCI standards is preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is preferred.
• Understanding of mathematics and basic field tools for measurements.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost control standards and procedures.
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in steel construction.
• Knowledge of Tekla and Fabtrol software programs is preferred.
