Construction Project Manager - Special Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead small-to-mid-sized construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, focusing on project execution, client relationships, and business development.

Responsibilities

• Manage all project phases, including pre-construction, start-up, and closeout
• Oversee project budgets, job costs, subcontractors, and project schedules
• Build and maintain strong client, broker, and partner relationships
• Assist with estimates, bid preparation, and contract assembly
• Lead project teams, including supervising project engineers and coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers
• Prepare and review change orders, owner billing, and payment applications
• Conduct project meetings and resolve site issues
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met on-site

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
• 5–8 years of project management or construction experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial/mixed-use building components, contracts, scheduling, and estimating
• Proficiency in estimating software, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Viewpoint and Procore is preferred
• Self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
