About the role

BLT Building and Land Technology (BLT) is a vertically integrated real estate developer, owner, and operator with a strong presence across residential and commercial asset classes. Our Construction team is known for delivering complex, high-quality projects through hands-on leadership, accountability, and collaboration.

BLT is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale projects from start to finish. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground Construction Project Manager role designed for builders who thrive onsite and take full ownership of execution. The Construction Project Manager will be 100% onsite, managing day-to-day construction activity and coordinating across general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders. This is not an office-based or reporting-only role; success as a Construction Project Manager at BLT is defined by execution, leadership, and results.

Projects are primarily ground-up multifamily developments ranging from 250–450 units, with occasional commercial/office projects and adaptive reuse depending on the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and enforce detailed project schedules
  • Serve as the onsite Construction Project Manager leading all field coordination
  • Manage General Contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and consultants
  • Maintain daily onsite presence to drive schedule adherence, quality, and accountability
  • Identify, escalate, and resolve construction issues proactively
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment across the full project lifecycle
  • Represent BLT as the primary Construction Project Manager onsite

Project Scope

  • Ground-up multifamily construction projects (250–450 units)
  • Select commercial/office construction and asset conversion projects
  • Typically 1–2 projects managed concurrently by each Construction Project Manager

Requirements

  • 8+ years of proven experience working as a Construction Project Manager (assistant or support roles will not be considered)
  • Experience managing projects of similar size and complexity
  • Ground-up multifamily or large scale commercial construction experience strongly preferred
  • Background with a general contractor or owner/developer is acceptable
  • Strong schedule management, field coordination, and leadership skills
  • Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, lean, high-accountability environment

Benefits

  • Competitive salary with potential for bonus
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
  • 401(k) plan
  • Life Insurance
  • Paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave
  • Tuition reimbursement
  • Housing discount at BLT properties
