Responsibilities

  • Forecast and analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits.
  • Develop a schedule for all phases of the build.
  • Aid in obtaining permits, adhering to deadlines, and adjusting the proposed schedule as needed.
  • Create and implement project-specific processes and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Project Superintendent to manage, direct, and coordinate daily construction activities.
  • Manage project costs by regularly evaluating labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Communicate with various company departments to address any issues that arise.
  • Act as the liaison between the client, the company, subcontractors, and government officials.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety measures, procedures, and regulations.
  • Ensure substantial completion as per specifications.
  • Assist in the submission of record drawings, maintenance manuals, and warranties to facilitate a smooth closeout process.

What It Takes

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of relevant work experience in the construction industry.
  • Osha 30 Certification.
