About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager based out of Effingham, Illinois, to oversee various DOT projects ranging in size and scope. The Project Manager will help with project execution by overseeing projects at a high level, manage crews on a daily basis, build and maintain effective customer relationships, develop and oversee project schedules, coordinate materials and subcontractors, and keep costs within budget while operating within our safety guidelines and quality standards.
The Project Manager should have the ability to effectively present information and answer questions for managers, customers, and employees, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Project and Excel.

Requirements
- 50/50 onsite/in-office role, requiring both field and office experience
- Previous DOT project knowledge, including the ability to read plans and specs for IA/IL DOT plans
- Experience with DOT forms, documentation, and testing
- College degree in Construction Management or Engineering, with demonstrated experience as a Project Manager or Estimator; or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Self-starter with a passion for growth and learning
- Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug test and all tests pursuant to the company’s Drug and Alcohol-Free workplace policy and procedures
