Construction Project Manager

About the role

VGS is looking for a Construction Project Manager to join our team! The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for managing and performing the daily responsibilities related to the physical construction of new and repair/renovation projects ranging from $100,000 to $50,000,000, and to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with the project Quality Control Plan and Safety Plan. The Construction Project Manager shall also have duties of project planning, scheduling, project accounting/cost control while providing technical direction. Project Management experience from conceptual through close-out phases required.

Responsibilities

• Generating all project site deliverables, site planning and logistics, contract administration, cost management, time management, quality control management and safety management.
• Coordinate between contractors, subcontractors; design consultants and staff to provide a completed project on time and under budget and will have complete oversight and authority for all onsite construction activity from start to finish.
• Serve as Project Superintendent, Construction Quality Manager (CQM), and/or Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO), as assigned based on project requirements, schedule, and staffing needs.
