About the role
The Wesson Group, LLC is growing and seeks a Construction Project Manager with a background in self-performed heavy civil and highway construction to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for working on projects from inception to close.
- Comply with and enforce the corporate health & safety program.
- Coordinate and manage the project execution team.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets and schedules.
- Procure vendors and subcontractors.
- Manage project budgets continuously.
- Interface with various stakeholders.
- Facilitate and manage critical path activities.
- Identify and process change orders and changes in scope.
- Generate and respond to RFI's.
- Review and submit project submittals.
- Support and maintain company core values.
- Continuously grow personal and professional skills.
- Mitigate project risks.
- Perform duties under supervision.
- Travel as required.
Qualifications
- Construction Management or Civil Engineer degree.
- 4+ years in Project Management roles, 10+ years total experience.
- OSHA 30 Certificate and related trainings.
- Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and team-oriented.
- Supervisory and leadership abilities.
- Organized time management.
- Scheduling and critical path management skills.
- Resourcefulness and creativity.
- Three positive references from recent employers.
