Key Responsibilities
- Manage all phases of construction projects, including estimating, budgeting, scheduling, submittals, change orders, and closeout.
- Cook up with field superintendents and office staff to maintain accurate documentation, daily logs, and project reporting.
- Oversee subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to drive timely, cost-effective completion.
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with all requirements.
- Prepare and manage RFIs, change orders, and payment applications.
- Maintain strong communication with clients, engineers, and inspectors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure all safety, quality, and regulatory standards are upheld.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil, sitework, or utility construction.
- Deep understanding of NYSDOT, USACE, or municipal specs and public project documentation.
- Proficient in construction technology tools including Procore, Buildertrend, Excel, and Bluebeam.
- Strong ability to read and interpret civil drawings and perform accurate takeoffs.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license required. Boat operating experience is a plus.
Schedule
Full-Time — Monday to Friday
Occasional travel to local job sites across Long Island
Location
On-site marine construction projects. Projects are regionally based along the Connecticut coastline.
