Role Description The Construction Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lenexa, KS. This role oversees electrical construction projects from planning through completion, including coordinating schedules, resources, and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Daily responsibilities include reviewing project plans, managing timelines, tracking costs, and communicating with customers, field supervisors, and internal teams. The Construction Project Manager monitors job progress, resolves issues in the field, ensures compliance with codes and company standards, and prepares regular status reports. This role also supports continuous improvement in processes and works closely with leadership to maintain Teague Electric’s standards of integrity, quality, and reliability. Qualifications Demonstrated skills in Construction Project Management and Construction Management for commercial and/or residential projects.Strong Project Management and Project Coordination abilities, including scheduling, resource planning, and stakeholder communication.Experience with Budgeting, cost tracking, and managing projects to financial targets.Knowledge of electrical construction practices, codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with field teams, customers, and vendors.Proven organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Proficiency with project management software and standard office productivity tools.Relevant education or training in construction management, engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience in electrical construction is highly valued.Previous experience in a supervisory or lead role on construction projects is preferred.
