Construction Project Manager
SERVPRO® of Adamstown Mohnton is one of the nation's leading restoration and reconstruction companies. As our reconstruction division expands throughout Central Pennsylvania, we seek an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee residential and commercial rebuilding projects following fire, water, storm, and mold damage.
About the role
The Construction Project Manager manages reconstruction projects from contract signing through final completion, including coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedules, monitoring budgets, ensuring quality workmanship, and providing an outstanding customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple residential and commercial reconstruction projects simultaneously
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and inspections
- Maintain project schedules and communicate milestones with customers
- Review construction plans, scopes of work, and approved estimates
- Monitor project budgets and profitability
- Approve subcontractor work and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform regular jobsite inspections
- Resolve construction challenges while minimizing delays
- Communicate with homeowners, commercial clients, insurance adjusters, and office staff
- Process change orders and coordinate supplemental work with the estimating team
- Ensure projects comply with local building codes and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate job documentation, progress photos, and daily notes
- Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to SERVPRO quality standards
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of construction project management experience
- Strong understanding of residential construction practices
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to read construction plans and scopes of work
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Insurance restoration experience
- Xactimate knowledge
- Experience managing insurance reconstruction projects
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
- Knowledge of Pennsylvania residential building codes
