Construction Project Manager

Description Of Responsibilities

Work with construction and site teams to oversee construction projects taking place within the Netrality portfolio from beginning to end.
Support the budgeting process for projects cost estimating process.
Resolve any problems that may arise with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and other contributors.
Conduct and document all project meetings.
Review and approve applications for payment including all associated documents such as closeout documents.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Evaluate, communicate, and determine remediation of risks of projects.
Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects, and key team members of the project team.
Ensure all project deadlines are met.
Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly.
Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project.
Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards.
Maintain ethical, professional, and courteous relations with contractors and tenants.
Stay abreast of the latest technology as related to construction process efficiencies.
Participate in adhoc projects or assignments as requested.

Position Requirements And Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, business development, or similar strongly preferred
• Data Center or telecommunications industry experience strongly preferred
• Proven working experience in construction management, 5+ years strongly preferred
• Knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards
• Understanding of all facets of the construction process
• Able to read and interpret blueprints
• Familiarity with construction management software packages
• Competent in conflict and crisis management
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and working knowledge of the following software applications: MRI, Avid, Procore, BIM, Primavera or MS Project is a plus.
