Construction Project Manager

Metropolitan Companies is seeking a Project Manager to oversee homebuilding projects in Philadelphia County as part of our new Founders Row Building Group division. This role ensures the highest quality-built homes and on-time completion while managing construction procedures efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with project timelines, quality standards, and budget limitations.
• Supervise daily construction operations, including management of labor, equipment, and materials.
• Track construction progress, identify and resolve issues promptly to maintain the project schedule.
• Work closely with senior management, engineers, and contractors to facilitate effective communication and resolve on-site conflicts or discrepancies.
• Ensure all construction work aligns with design specifications and local building codes.
• Review construction plans to accurately interpret and execute the intended designs.
• Order building materials and manage community assets and site budgets.
• Perform regular site safety inspections.
• Conduct quality control inspections.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of professional construction project management experience.
• Experience with building in the city of Philadelphia, including knowledge of city ordinances, RCO’s, and L&I.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• OSHA30 certification is strongly preferred.
• Customer relations experience is a plus.
