Construction Project Manager

Laland Baptiste, LLC is a certified minority and woman-owned construction management and consulting firm. The company provides innovative and professional services throughout all phases of the construction life cycle, including Construction Management, Program Management, Owners Representation, Resident Engineering, Inspection, Preconstruction Consulting, Change Order Review, Value Engineering, Administration Assistance, Document Control, and Staff Augmentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and coordination of construction projects from pre-design through post-construction phases.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee quality control and ensure adherence to design specifications.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
• Prepare and present project reports and progress updates.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management
• 10-15+ years’ experience as a Construction Manager with responsibility for three (3) or more phases of construction.
• Strong construction contract knowledge and ability to mitigate risk.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, organizational, planning, delegation, coaching, communication (verbal, written and interpersonal).
• MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) skills.
• OSHA 40 certification.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years’ experience in healthcare construction/hospital.
• Certified Construction Manager (CCM).

Pay

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
