Responsibilities
- Oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Manage budgets, schedules, subcontractors, clients, and internal teams
- Maintain a high standard for quality and execution
- Take ownership of complex construction projects
- Manage project budgets and financials
- Procure and negotiate subcontractor contracts
- Control change orders and costs
- Communicate effectively and build strong client relationships
- Manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
- Solve problems and make informed decisions
- Use construction project management software
Requirements
- 5+ years of construction project management experience
- Experience managing commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, drawings, specifications, and schedules
- Proven experience managing project budgets and financials
- Experience with subcontractor procurement and contract negotiations
- Strong change order and cost-control experience
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency with construction project management software
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
