About the Opportunity A well-established General Contractor in Southern California is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team.The company has a strong track record delivering public works, education, K-12 and DSA-regulated projects throughout Southern California. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager looking to take ownership of high-quality projects while working with an established and respected contractor. Responsibilities Manage construction projects from preconstruction through final completionTake overall responsibility for project budget, schedule and profitabilityCoordinate owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors and vendorsManage project documentation, contracts, RFIs, submittals, change orders and pay applicationsReview plans, specifications and project requirementsDevelop and maintain project schedulesMonitor project costs and financial performanceLead project meetings and maintain strong client relationshipsCoordinate closely with Superintendents and field teamsIdentify and resolve project issues and potential delaysEnsure projects comply with contract requirements, quality standards and applicable regulationsMaintain accurate project records and documentationSupport estimating and preconstruction activities when requiredEnsure successful project closeout and turnover Requirements 5+ years of construction project management experienceExperience working for a General ContractorStrong experience with public works and/or education constructionDSA experience strongly preferredExperience managing projects from start to finish
