Construction Project Manager
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering municipal capital improvement projects from concept through closeout. Oversees project budgets, procurement, consultant and contractor management, construction documentation, grant administration, and resolution of construction-related issues to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable regulations. Serves as the primary liaison between City departments, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, utility providers, and the public. This is generally an in-person position that is not eligible for regular remote work.
Responsibilities

- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with applicable regulations
- Serve as the primary liaison between City departments, consultants, contractors, regulatory agencies, utility providers, and the public
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required; BA degree in Construction Management or Engineering discipline preferred (or equivalent combination of experience and training)
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
- Ability to pass background check and MVR with results acceptable to the City of Rifle
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience with demonstrated increasing complexity (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Skills
- Experience with municipal infrastructure including streets, water, wastewater, stormwater, parks, and public facilities
- Working knowledge of GIS, construction management software, scheduling software, and Microsoft Office applications

Pay
$91,123.00 to $100,463.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
