Construction Project Manager

Minimum Requirements

• To perform work: Associate’s degree in civil engineering or closely related field required; Prior experience with transportation projects on SCDOT roads required; SCDHEC Erosion Prevention & Sediment Control Inspector certification and SCDOT Technician Certifications required.
• Additional related certifications preferred. Candidates who are not certified upon hire will be required to obtain and maintain necessary certifications as a condition of continued employment.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license for South Carolina with a safe driving record.
• Four (4) years of related engineering and/or construction management experience required;
• Two (2) years of supervisory experience required;
• EIT registration and/or PMP preferred;
• Or equivalent combination of experience, training, or advanced education may be accepted.

Special Requirements

• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license for South Carolina with a safe driving record;
• Roadway and stormwater construction experience required;
• AutoCAD or MicroStation training preferred;
• A criminal background check will be completed on selected applicant if a current one (less than 3 years old) is not on file.
