This is an exciting opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of light industrial, warehouse repositioning, tenant improvement, and commercial renovation projects throughout Connecticut. If you enjoy taking ownership of projects from start to finish, building strong client relationships, and working in a collaborative, family-oriented environment, we'd love to hear from you.Unlike larger corporate general contractors where responsibilities are highly specialized, this role offers the opportunity to oversee both the administrative and field aspects of each project while serving as the primary point of contact for clients. Responsibilities include:Manage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through completionBuild and maintain strong client relationships as the primary point of contactDevelop and maintain project schedulesManage project budgets, cost tracking, and financial reportingCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and procurement activitiesPrepare and manage change ordersConduct owner meetings and project updatesCoordinate daily with field personnel and project stakeholdersMonitor job site progress and qualityLead project closeout activities and final documentation Required Qualifications5–7 years of commercial construction experienceCurrent Assistant Project Manager or Project ManagerExperience with ground-up commercial constructionExperience managing commercial renovation projectsStrong client-facing communication and relationship management skillsExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesComfortable visiting and managing active construction sites Typical ProjectsOur Project Managers work on a variety of commercial construction projects, including:Warehouse improvementsDistribution facilitiesIndustrial renovationsTenant improvementsFacility upgradesTypical Project Size: $1M–$4M
