We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join one of Connecticut's most respected construction organizations, delivering impactful projects across the commercial, healthcare, clean room, pharmaceutical, biopharma, manufacturing, and semiconductor sectors. What You'll Do Project Leadership & Execution Lead all phases of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocation.Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Coordinate closely with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.Conduct regular project meetings and provide clear communication across all teams. Financial & Operational Management Monitor project financial performance, forecasts, cost controls, and final project settlements.Manage project procurement, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and equipment.Oversee contract administration, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.Identify risks early and implement proactive mitigation strategies.Ensure accurate reporting and provide executive leadership with regular project updates. Team Development & Client Management Lead, mentor, and support project teams, field personnel, and executive staff.Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement.Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout construction, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring expectations are met.Coordinate work planning activities to ensure projects progress efficiently and safely. Quality & Safety Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, safety requirements, and quality standards.Ensure adherence to all building codes, industry regulations, and company procedures.Champion a culture of safety while maintaining operational excellence across all project activities. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.5+ years of Construction Project Management experience.Proven experience managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.Strong background in healthcare, clean room, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, manufacturing, or mission-critical environments.Demonstrated success managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractor performance.Strong understanding of construction methods, project controls, and building regulations.Proficiency with:ProcoreMicrosoft ProjectSageConstruction management software platformsExceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications PMP CertificationLEED AccreditationExperience with high-end technical facilities and controlled environments.Advanced scheduling expertise and critical path management experience.Experience leading projects exceeding $10M in value.Strong background in change management, cost tracking, forecasting, and contract administration. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Danbury, CT. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
