About the role

Harmon, Inc. is seeking motivated and driven interns to join the Summer Internship Program as Construction Project Management Interns. The internship provides hands‑on experience supporting active construction projects, working alongside experienced project managers, field leaders, and industry professionals. Interns will learn the construction process from project planning through completion while contributing to meaningful project work. Positions are available at multiple locations across the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain subcontractor files, job folders, and project documentation.
  • Support project schedule updates and track project milestones.
  • Develop and manage project correspondence with subcontractors, suppliers, design firms, and owner representatives.
  • Review project documents, including shop drawings, transmittals, bulletins, addenda, purchase orders, and change orders.
  • Monitor construction schedules and assist with critical‑path schedule updates based on actual project progress.
  • Support the processing of progress payments, change orders, and extra work orders.
  • Assist with development and tracking of project punch lists.
  • Participate in project team meetings, progress meetings, and scheduling meetings.
  • Record and follow up on meeting notes and action items.
  • Maintain project logs and organize project paperwork.
  • Assist with construction inspections and review construction drawings and blueprints.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Construction Technology, Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Junior or senior standing preferred.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
  • Ability to work full‑time during the summer internship period.
