Construction Project Engineer - Springtide

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our team at our project site in Santa Clara, California. This full-time, onsite position provides technical, administrative, and subcontractor management support to Project Managers and Project Directors.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development and maintenance of execution plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Manage documentation, submittals, RFIs, and communication among project stakeholders.
• Support procurement, contract administration, and change management processes.
• Participate in safety planning and quality assurance, including shop drawing reviews and design compliance.
• Track project costs, invoice preparation, and reporting.
• Maintain project documentation systems and assist with closeout deliverables and turnover packages.
• Contribute to marketing materials, proposals, and ongoing team coordination across departments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or an equivalent technical degree.
• 1-3 years of experience in Construction Project Delivery or a related discipline.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand, sit, and walk for prolonged periods.
• Must possess the ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as required.
• Must be able to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Must be able to climb ladders as necessary.

Work Environment

• 25% travel, or as required by the assigned project.
• May be assigned to a client site for an extended period, including overnight travel or staying in the city of the client’s location.
• Will visit construction sites and must take site safety training and adhere to site safety rules.
• Must have access to reliable transportation and the ability to travel and commute on a daily or routine basis.
• Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, which may include exposure to varying weather.

Safety

This is a safety-sensitive position. The employee is designated for field work and attends activities at client sites where they work in construction, process, packaging, manufacturing, research, or other "non-administrative" areas.

Pay

The salary for this role ranges from $71,000 to $118,000, dependent on experience, skill set, and education.
