About the role

AECOM Hunt is seeking a Construction Project Engineer in Tampa, FL, Orlando, FL and/or Gainesville, GA. This position is expected to start immediately.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Project Management team by overseeing construction administration tasks
  • Preparing subcontractor reports as needed to keep Supervisor and Client informed of ongoing progress
  • Participating in site visits
  • Coordinating and assisting superintendent as required
  • Receiving, reviewing and submitting documents for approval (Submittals/ RFIs/ etc.)
  • Assisting project manager costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract
  • Working with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate
  • Attending meetings and reporting on project tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management or other related field or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
  • Preferred qualifications: Previous internship experience in construction management, proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
