About the role

As a Program Architect, you will work with project teams in a dynamic, rapid-growth environment alongside bright engineers, architects, designers, builders, crafters, and manufacturers. You’ll improve and deploy a prototype building program and help build an alternative to the traditional construction industry. From desk to factory floor to job sites and client meetings, you will develop your skills in a new field, taking a critical role in project delivery via the DMC methodology.

This position requires travel to project locations and serves as the primary project interface for DMC projects from assignment through completion. You will be the face of the company to clients and contractors, managing customer satisfaction, project execution, and coordination of multiple moving parts for product and service installation across multiple states.

Responsibilities

  • Manage entire projects or series of projects, including safety, quality, budget, and schedule.
  • Lead project launch and planning in collaboration with cross-organizational teams.
  • Oversee multiple projects with varying team structures, including self-perform, trade partners, and general contractor partners.
  • Handle client relations, correspondence, periodic reports, change orders, and responses to client inquiries.
  • Develop assistant project management personnel through mentoring and on-the-job training.
  • Ensure prompt and efficient project closeout.
  • Maintain daily communication and coordination with Design, Manufacturing, and Construction teams.
  • Coordinate with internal departments such as shipping, logistics, and self-perform.
  • Manage project financials and change orders.
  • Serve as the primary point of communication and coordination with client project management.
  • Collaborate with the jobsite team to plan site logistics for permanent installations, module delivery, and setting.
  • Work with the jobsite team to efficiently manage site facilities and general conditions costs.
  • Document and communicate lessons learned to drive continuous improvement processes.
  • Manage relationships with customers, internal teams, subcontractors, and local authorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction management, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Teams; ability to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Ability to generate, maintain, and iterate project schedules.
  • Team-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and construction documents, and communicate discrepancies or missing information.
  • General knowledge of construction means and methods across all trades.
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements for current and future projects.

Pay

$150,000 - $200,000 per year
