Construction President - Commercial General Contractor - Charlotte, NC

About the role

A midsize commercial general contractor is seeking a president to oversee all construction operations and the company's P&L.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all construction operations and the company's P&L
• Build a variety of commercial and institutional buildings, including offices, schools, hospitals, light industrial buildings, and multifamily buildings
• Lead the company within the community and industry with an excellent culture and reputation

Requirements

• Proven track record of success in leadership roles within the construction industry
• Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
• Professional certifications such as Certified Construction Manager (C.C.M.) or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
