Job Duties
- Serves as the assistant to the Superintendent.
- Responsible for identifying, addressing, and correcting jobsite problems that may occur while working with crew.
- Responsible to backup superintendent in areas of documentation, such as reports, inspections logs, time sheets, and drawings.
- All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- 2 years supervisory experience in a commercial or industrial construction environment.
- Extensive experience and knowledge of form carpentry, concrete finishing and/or mobile equipment operations in industrial construction.
- Able to coach, lead and direct construction crew.
- Able to read, interpret and execute construction drawings, specifications and workplans.
- Eligible for Transportation Worker Industry Card (TWIC) from the Department of Homeland Security.
- OSHA 10-hr.
- Flexible and able to travel (up to 100%).
- Comfortable navigating web-based apps.
- Procore experience a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Physical Demands
- Individual will be required to lift, bend, climb, stoop, and work around moving machinery, dust, and fumes.
- Will be required to work inclement weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 90 lbs.
