About the role

Fiorilli Construction, Inc., is seeking a full-time Operations Associate to join their team in Richfield, OH. Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key support resource for project managers, superintendents, owners, and subcontractors throughout the lifecycle of commercial construction projects.
  • Aid in project scheduling, procurement, budgeting, reporting, and project controls.
  • Coordinate communications between owners, subcontractors, architects, engineers, and field teams.
  • Support project managers with critical administrative and operational functions.
  • Assist with subcontract creation and management, RFIs, submittals, observations, change orders, vendor setup, and monthly billing processes.
  • Contribute to project controls by assisting with takeoffs, schedule preparation, procurement tracking, material management, subcontract scope development, buyout activities, and weekly project reporting.
  • Maintain accurate project information, monitor data integrity, and proactively identify project issues while recommending practical solutions.
  • Play an important role in project closeout activities, coordinating documentation, generating closeout status reports, tracking outstanding items, and ensuring all project financials, billing, retainage, and closeout requirements are completed efficiently.
  • Act as a liaison between project teams, operations, estimating, accounting, clients, and subcontractors.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in construction administration, project coordination, operations support, or a related construction industry role.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Experience supporting project schedules, budgets, procurement, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve issues in a practical and professional manner.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and construction management software.
  • Experience with Jonas Premier, project controls, reporting systems, and commercial construction processes is strongly preferred.
