Construction Observer

Summary

This is a full-time permanent position for Construction Observers with the opportunity for on-the-job training. Familiarity with soil and concrete testing and construction methods is a plus. The role involves ensuring construction practices comply with approved plans, verifying materials and quantities, and resolving construction-related issues. This is a great opportunity to work outside and gain experience in the construction industry. Salary is commensurate with experience and excellent fringe benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction practices comply with the approved plans and notify engineers of any deviations.
• Verify materials and quantities, their placement, and perform required materials testing and reporting.
• Ensure work is performed to the design standards and quality described in the contractual documents.
• Resolve construction-related issues in a timely manner.
