Responsibilities
- Specialized inspection of Mechanical - Electrical Systems and components for a major NYSDOT Railroad Lift Span Bridge
- Quality Control (QC) review/inspection related to installation of specialized activities related to Lift Bridge Systems
- Inclusive of: Mechanical House, Operator House, Signal House, Bridge Lift Components, Elevators, Communications, Railroad Signals, Mechanical, Electrical, HVAC and Plumbing
- Clear communication of complex technical information
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time to inspect multiple work crews
- OSHA 10 certification required
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of construction inspection experience
- Specified knowledge of mechanical-electrical systems
- NICET, EIT, or PE preferred
