Construction Mechanic - Heavy Equipment - Full-Time Traveling

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on heavy equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, as well as undercarriages.
  • Fabricate and weld parts, components, and attachments as needed.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance logs and service records.
  • Cookordination with field crews and supervisors to prioritize equipment repairs and minimize downtime.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience repairing and maintaining heavy construction equipment.
  • Class B CDL for driving company service truck.
  • Proficient in welding and fabricating techniques.
  • Ability to work independently, outdoors, and lift heavy parts or tools.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and punctual.

Pay & Benefits

  • $40-60+ per hour depending on experience – some project locations require you to join the local Operators' Union.
