Construction Materials Field Technician

About the role

Kleinfelder, a Forbes' Top Employer for Engineers in North America, is seeking experienced Construction Materials Testing Technicians for its Dallas, Texas office. The ideal candidate should have 1-3 years of construction materials testing or inspection experience and hold relevant certifications such as ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade 1, Radiation Safety training for a nuclear density gauge, and TxDOT Testing Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Follow proper procedures and complete work in a timely manner
• Prepare daily field observation reports and materials testing data sheets
• Perform accurate computations
• Maintain cordial relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, etc.
• May require travel from time to time

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Able to use a company-provided laptop or tablet computer and have a working knowledge of MS Office programs
• A good work ethic and high level of personal integrity

• Authorization to work in the United States
