Construction Material Field Technician

About the role

The Construction Material Field Technician is responsible for inspecting and testing various construction materials in the field. This includes conducting tests to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test construction materials such as concrete, steel, and masonry products.
• Document findings and report any non-conformities to the project team.
• Ensure all testing procedures are conducted according to established protocols and guidelines.
• Collaborate with other field technicians and project managers to address material issues and improve quality control processes.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in construction material inspection or related field.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to construction materials.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using common laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Skills

• Knowledge of construction materials and their properties.
• Experience with laboratory testing equipment.

Pay

Salary range: $50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
