Construction Manager - Wireless

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of utility construction for various types of telecom projects.
• Lead a team of construction professionals to produce high-quality work in a safety-minded environment.
• Provide a high level of customer service when interfacing with customers for escalated issues.
• Give direction to multiple crews and manage their job site activities.
• Review progressed schedules against deadlines and manage projects to completion on time and within budget.
• Schedule crews, delegate tasks, review project timelines, and supervise work performance and job quality.
• Participate in the hiring process and maintain all employment-related paperwork (e.g., new hire, separation, employment data changes).
• Promote a safe work environment and hold crews accountable for safe work practices.
• Prepare and interpret drawings, graphs, maps, blueprints, bid documents, contracts, proposals, and specifications.
• Identify and resolve blueprint issues before and during the construction process.
• Identify, supervise, inspect, and bill subcontractors for their tasks.
• Take responsibility for all personnel, vehicles, and equipment under your control.
• Participate in meetings with senior operations management, peers, and customers.
• Participate in estimating, bidding projects, contract negotiations, and change order preparation.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Construction Management.
• 3-5 years of experience managing wireless telecom construction projects.
• Knowledge of the wireless telecom construction industry.
• Enjoy problem-solving and troubleshooting field issues.
• Previous site management experience with strong client and supplier relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) and ability to learn custom software.
• Must be local to the Las Vegas market.
