About the Role
Archadeck Outdoor Living, North America’s leading designer and builder of custom decks, porches, and hardscapes, is seeking a Construction Manager to lead our production team. In this role, you will bridge a client's dream and a flawlessly executed reality by overseeing the successful, efficient, and profitable completion of diverse outdoor projects, managing everything from internal crews to high-level job costing.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor the production team and subcontractors to meet Archadeck’s "Quality Standards" on every build.
- Review sold projects for buildability, submit construction drawings for approvals, and manage the full project timeline from permit to punch list.
- Manage jobsite materials, verify take-offs, and develop weekly production goals to ensure resources are positioned for maximum efficiency.
- Provide daily status updates on active projects and manage customer expectations with a high standard of service.
- Oversee job costing and project closing procedures to ensure every build meets budgetary requirements.
- Develop new systems, tools, and methods to improve profitability and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- 3+ years of construction management experience (outdoor living, residential remodeling, or custom home building experience is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft software and comfort using desktop and mobile technology to manage projects.
- Ability to multitask across several high-stakes projects while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating tradesmen, providing crew feedback, and presenting professionally to clients.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset to anticipate and mitigate potential site issues.
- Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
Qualifications
- Degree in Project/Construction Management preferred (extensive relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).
- OSHA certifications (preferred but not required).
