Construction Manager (Night Shift) (Data Centers)

About the role
As a Construction Manager on the Night Shift team, you’ll join our collaborative group providing award-winning planning, engineering, architectural design, construction management, and design-build project delivery for a hyperscale data center project in Saint Francisville, LA. You’ll develop and deliver project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, helping our teams achieve client objectives in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to multi-task, communicate effectively, and tackle project challenges will ensure the success of complex projects.
Responsibilities
- Host weekly meetings with Subcontractors, take notes, and distribute meeting minutes.
- Align with Subcontract Administrator to ensure all captured items are accurate.
- Ensure Subcontractors have the latest technical documents, including drawings and specifications.
- Review all RFIs and submittals for completeness prior to Subcontractor submission.
- Monitor the return of RFIs and submittals from Subcontractors and expedite assistance from engineering disciplines as required.
- Visit Subcontractor fabrication shops to expedite material deliveries and verify work in progress.
- Work with Construction Management and field superintendents to sequence and coordinate material deliveries.
- Monitor Subcontractor’s schedule weekly and escalate issues to the Assistant Construction Manager (ACM) and Subcontracts Administrator.
- Collaborate with field superintendents and project controls to track progress measurements.
- Evaluate potential changes, including identified but not yet priced and unit rate to IFC pricing, in conjunction with the Subcontracts Administrator.
- Coordinate with Subcontractors, Subcontracts Administrator, and project cost control to process changes promptly into Unifier.
- Review, coordinate changes, and approve pay applications before presenting them to the ACM for final approval.
Requirements
- Experience managing data center construction projects or projects related to Life Science and/or Pharmaceutical Production Facility Construction.
- Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components, contract management, project delivery methods, team building, and client relationship building.
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of Construction Management in Civil, Structural, and Architectural disciplines.
- Experience leading contractors and superintendents for current scope, engineering information, and document drawings/specifications for construction execution.
- Ability to manage CSA scopes of work from the initial bid phase through execution, turnover, and closeout of the subcontract.
- Experience monitoring project budgets to ensure project requirements are met.
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to work with Engineering and Subcontracting to develop scopes of work for CSA-related bid packages.
- Liaise between Subcontracts Department and Engineering to ensure all engineering requirements are met during the bid phase and any subsequent changes.
- Work closely with Subcontracts Administration, Project Controls, Accounting, Quality, and Turnover teams to ensure efficient closeout of subcontracts.

Pay
The base salary range for this position is $103,100.00 to $141,800.00. Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Schedule
This role is assigned to the Night Shift team.
