Construction Manager - Multifamily Developer
Description
The Construction Manager will report directly to the senior development and construction leadership team and support the planning, coordination, and execution of a diverse portfolio of multifamily projects.
Manage construction and renovation projects from preconstruction through completion
Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
Monitor project schedules, budgets, quality standards, and overall performance
Identify and mitigate project risks, conflicts, and construction issues
Support forecasting, change management, cost tracking, and financial reporting
Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality control reviews to ensure project compliance
Review contractor pay applications and support timely processing of payments
Profile
For the Construction Manager we are seeking:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline preferred
- Experience managing multifamily, residential, mixed-use, or commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction processes, budgeting, scheduling, and contract administration
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and drive projects to successful completion
- Experience reviewing project costs, change orders, and contractor payment applications
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel regularly throughout the Southeastern United States
