Responsible Duties

  • Inspect construction and maintenance projects according to FHR Pipeline’s and Terminal’s Technical Guidelines and applicable regulations.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and standards and follow safety rules and regulations to promote a positive safety culture.
  • Adhere to environmental standards and demonstrate environmental awareness.
  • Control costs and schedules for projects in your area of responsibility.
  • Make responsible decisions in the field for the required work to be accomplished.
  • Ensure no leaks, spills, or releases occur.

Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, handling, bending, twisting, climbing, and balancing.
  • Sitting, kneeling, crouching, and crawling occasionally.
  • Utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds (with frequent carrying up to 25 pounds).
  • Respond to audio alarms or other loud noises indicating a safety concern.
  • Communicate hazardous conditions and other dangers.
  • Work near moving mechanical parts, in wet or humid conditions, outdoors, in high, precarious places, around fumes or airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in pipeline construction and repair related work.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75-90% (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
  • Ability and willingness to meet physical requirements.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • 2+ years of experience working on pipeline, terminal repair projects involving pipeline nondestructive testing evaluations, tanks, repair, and maintenance.
  • Experience with inspecting, applying industrial coatings, and knowledge of excavation standards and requirements.
  • Knowledge of API 650, 653, B31.4, B31.3, and OSHA confined space requirements.
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of 4 gas air monitoring and benzene monitoring equipment.
  • A two-year Vocational Technical (Mechanical or Welding) or Construction Science Degree.

Pay and Benefits

The anticipated pay range for this role is $100,000 - $140,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, which may be issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. Please refer to the benefits section for details on specific benefits offered.
