About the role: The description: "As a Construction Manager within Global Engineering Services (GES) North America (NA) Design & Construction (D&C), you are Amazon's owner's representative throughout the full construction lifecycle. You play an integral role in delivering the built facilities and infrastructure that power Amazon's logistics network — including sortation centers, delivery stations, and auxiliary buildings — through new builds, retrofits, and expansions. In this role, you serve as the primary point of interface between Amazon and its external partners — developers, general contractors, design engineers, and authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) — while collaborating closely with internal stakeholders responsible for equipping, furnishing, and operating our facilities. You are accountable for the safe, on-time, in scope, and on-budget delivery of construction projects, and you bring a disciplined approach to budget management, schedule oversight, contract execution, and quality assurance. You operate with a high degree of independence within your assigned region, managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining clear and transparent communication with all project stakeholders. This role combines construction management, engineering, project planning, contract management, and facilities delivery — and requires approximately 60% regional travel within North America. This role requires 60% regional travel on a yearly basis. When not traveling, you must have availability to work from a corporate office. Candidates should either live near or be willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of one of the corporate office locations listed. Relocation assistance may be provided."
We'll put that in a paragraph.

- Serve as Amazon's owner's representative and primary integrator between construction execution teams and internal stakeholders (operations, equipment, IT, etc.)
- Review construction documents, drawings, and specifications for conformance to Amazon's building standards and design guidelines
- Identify and resolve design conflicts, schedule clashes, and coordination gaps with other Amazon execution teams

- Budget, Schedule & Contract Management Own comprehensive budget tracking, cashflow forecasting, and cost management across assigned projects
